Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's had great success with the tales she tells of her young heartbreak. Swift began to show an enthusiasm for the industry of music from a very young age. Swift's career grew rapidly beyond the roles of children's entertainers, through her first appearance on stage in the presence of thousands. In 2011, Swift, aged 11 at the time, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. Following that, Swift began writing her own songs. Swift created original music inspired by the country music of artists like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) as well as Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens alienation. Swift was just 13 when her parents made the choice to dispose of their Pennsylvania farm and move to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could dedicate all her time to reaching out to country labels located in Nashville.
