Dakota Blue Richards, an English actress who is well known for her role as Lyra in the film 'The Golden Compass. She was also Franky in The British Drama Skins. She is also a very energetic performer on stage. Her credits include 'Arcadia,' 'A Streetcar Named Desire", and many others. Richards, a Londoner by birth, grew up on her home on the Sussex coast. She attended a few drama classes at her school, but she mostly took training in acting at weekends. The school also stayed closed for auditions. It was her debut performance as an actor. Richards her performance was highly praised by many people, in spite of her lackluster reaction to the movie. In the following year, she made her debut on television in the film Dustbin Baby.
